Fulfilled by our friends at Hagan Ski Mountaineering

Need just Pure 10 heel pieces? We have you covered.

Pure 10 heel pieces are sold as singles. Need a set? Order two.

SOLD OUT - of the 75mm, 102mm and 108mm brake widths. Orders for those brake widths placed now will be shipped this Fall. Need one of the sold out brake widths now? Check out the Boost 12 Bindings. The toe brakes are ingenious – and because I ordered plenty, they are now available at big Spring Sale savings. Or order the "no brakes" version of the Pure 10 now and the brakes separately.

The lightest high-performance alpine touring binding.

The revolutionary Pure 10 binding outperforms standard U-Spring tech bindings for a better skiing, more efficient, and hassle-free backcountry experience. The Pure 10 combines several ingenuous performance innovations:

  • extremely solid boot/ski connection
  • no torsional movement
  • 20mm length adjustment
  • Elastic Response System
  • precise release and great descending feel
  • The 280 gram Pure 10 – including length adjustment, brakes and crampon mounts – is very light, less than half the weight of alternatives. Other bindings touting low weight or price include neither brakes or crampon mounts. The Pure 10 weighs just 230 grams with brakes removed, 222 grams without brakes and crampon mounts. The Pure 10 is the lightest high-performance all-mountain touring binding!

The patented CAM heel system adjusts to impact forces, providing far better control, skiing precision and release than simple U Forks. The elastic response system in the heel ensures perfect flex of the ski during compression and excellent skiing performance. The heel piece can be turned in any direction. Step in is very easy.

The Pure 10 has three climbing positions. One climbing position can be selected without any need to twist the heel piece.

Easy toe entry and quick and secure clamping is superior to standard tech bindings. The toe is designed for much easier step-in, even with older and worn boots.

The brake is equipped with an ELASTIC SLIDE on the pad in contact with the boot that keeps the lateral release value of the binding fixed. The brake arms are extra long with wide hooks to stop your skis quickly. Matching crampons easily slide into the crampon hooks when needed. All adjustments on the binding can be made with a standard Phillips screwdriver.

A 20 mm ADJUSTMENT PLATE is integrated in the heel part to assure a fast adjustment in case of boot substitution (up to 2 full sizes).

The Pure 10 is a simplified, lighter and lower cost version of the Core 12 Pro. It perfectly embodies Hagan's prime values: durability, performance, ease of use and value. The Pure 10 binding combined with our Pure and Core series skis provides an outstanding touring package with extreme value.

Note: The "no brakes" version simply has the brakes removed. There isn't a replacement heel plate. Function isn't affected, even in uphill "flat" mode. If you would like to "fill the gap", ATK AL11 ski brake covers are available.

  • Pure 10 Features

    WEIGHT: 280 grams.
REVOLUTIONARY SKI-BRAKE: incredibly light and easy to operate; two positions (retracted for uphill and released for downhill) via pushing a catch lever. See the short videos for brake operation.
ELASTIC RESPONSE SYSTEM: an elastic sliding system in the heel allows unrestrained flex of the ski during compression and excellent skiing performance.
SKI BRAKE ELASTIC SLIDE: integrated in the ski-brake pad to keep the lateral release value of the binding fixed.
SKI BRAKE: included, with sizes 75, 86, 91, 97, 102, 108 and 120 mm to provide the perfect fit with any ski model.

    Peak Outdoors

Having the right equipment can make the difference between an awesome time and a rough one. Let's do it right.

    Not a recommendation.
    Get outside.

Some of the best things in life happen outside; the pre-dawn ascent, the post run coffee, the all day ride, the late afternoon dive and drinks around a fire to close out the day. We try to spend as much or our time doing these things with the people we love and think you should too.

    the right gear

We work to have the right tool for the job which lets you shop less and get outside more. That is what Peak Outdoors is about.

    Paddling Sebago? Check.

    Skiing Tucks? Check.

    Riding Huts and Trails? Check.

    You get the idea.
